With a background in visual arts, I love experimenting with different mediums and styles. My graphic design expertise informs my artwork, and in turn, my art enhances my design work. I create using traditional techniques as well as digital tools such as Procreate, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Blender 3D.

"Joy Is Our Right" Mural
I was selected by the Thunder Bay Museum to design and paint a mural on a pillar in front of the building.  I was honoured to work alongside other artists whom I had previously met through various community wellness initiatives.  As we worked, we witnessed the community's excitement and joy in response to our paintings.  Art radiates energy, and we infused each piece with healing intentions, offering them as gifts to the people of Thunder Bay.  I hope this mural inspires passersby to welcome more joy into their lives.

Joy is a vital part of life and resilience; it is healing, rejuvenating, wholesome, and essential in fostering connection.  I believe that much of the grief we experience in life is not only because of what has hurt us, but also lost opportunities for joy and the joy we have denied ourselves.
Using 3D software, I created a model of the pillar and UV unwrapped it to develop a template for my design.

"Joy is our right" interwoven with the Arabic words
فرح (joy),
محبة (love/charity)
and
وحدة (unity).
Quirky Co Mural
What started as a novelty accessory treasure cove has been evolving into a meaningful initiative. Quirky Co., in conjunction with The Boreal Museum, provides a space for kids and families to unleash their imaginations while exploring the wondrous world of science. Giant T-Rex statue? They got it. A shark-shaped purse? Yup. A whimsical mushroom forest? Of course! They even have a mini vintage arcade!

The owner was excited to learn that I am an artist and asked me to create a mural for them. Before committing to a storefront mural, I developed a brand identity for Quirky Co. The environment itself was inspiring, evoking feelings of childhood nostalgia. In this generation, the world of whimsy is conventionally accessed through screens. I want to inspire kids to step away from screens and bring the fun of games to life!
